Hey Normachine…

We are trying to raise money for a good cause. We know a good couple from our home town that recently lost a child We are raffling a signed guitar to help them raise money for funeral costs. If you’d like to contribute, you can donate to our PayPal account at asknormajean@gmail.com (triple check your spelling, Click personal, select GIFT).

Each dollar you donate will enter you to win the guitar. We will also send you some other goodies too (a poster, NJ picks, Dunlop Strings etc…)

We recommend that you donate more than a dollar since Paypal adds fees. It’s up to you.

2nd and 3rd place will win shirts, picks, posters etc… We’ll make it legit. Please help us by spreading the word to your friends on Twitter and Facebook.

The official video for “Bastardizer,” the second single off Meridional, debuts today on Alternative Press. The video was directed by Brooks Jones and shot at our rehearsal space in Atlanta. Watch here:

From Cory: We had a lot of fun shooting this video. It’s really just us in our practice space, where we have written most of our records. No special effects, just us jamming. It’s one of our favorite songs from the new record, so it was a perfect choice for the next video.

After a successful 2010 and a strong start in 2011, Norma Jean have announced the “Explosions II Part Deux” Spring 2011 tour. The tour will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale on May 6th at Culture Room and conclude in their home state of Georgia in Augusta on June 1st. After The Burial, Motionless In White will be supporting Norma Jean along with For The Fallen Dreams and Stray From The Path. The critically acclaimed metal band is currently on the road with their “Explosions II” headlining tour which concludes March 25th in Atlanta.
