The official video for “Bastardizer,” the second single off Meridional, debuts today on Alternative Press. The video was directed by Brooks Jones and shot at our rehearsal space in Atlanta. Watch here:

From Cory: We had a lot of fun shooting this video. It’s really just us in our practice space, where we have written most of our records. No special effects, just us jamming. It’s one of our favorite songs from the new record, so it was a perfect choice for the next video.

After a successful 2010 and a strong start in 2011, Norma Jean have announced the “Explosions II Part Deux” Spring 2011 tour. The tour will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale on May 6th at Culture Room and conclude in their home state of Georgia in Augusta on June 1st. After The Burial, Motionless In White will be supporting Norma Jean along with For The Fallen Dreams and Stray From The Path. The critically acclaimed metal band is currently on the road with their “Explosions II” headlining tour which concludes March 25th in Atlanta.

Hey Norma Jean Fans!

If you haven’t already heard, we’ll be hitting the road soon for EXPLOSIONS II. We definitely want to see you guys at these shows as we haven’t done a headlining tour in forever it seems. We’ll be playing a lot of songs we haven’t played in forever or at all. Old and new.

As we hit each city, we’re looking for our dedicated fans to get out there and help us promote. We’re talking real DIY-style help. Like it used to be when we were just starting out and all got into music. Norma Jean fans! We wanted you to be the first to know about our upcoming “Explosions II” tour. Norma Jean will headline, supported by Stick To Your Guns, Impending Doom, and Of Legends. This is our first real headlining tour in over a year so don’t miss it! We will be playing a lot of songs that we haven’t played in a long time and some that have never been played at all, old and new. Doesn’t matter what record is your favorite, we’ll be playing something from it. We’re very excited and are working really hard to make sure it’s going to be excellent!
