What an amazing Spring it’s been for Norma Jean! We spent February laboring away at Glow in the Dark Studios in Atlanta laying down what we honestly believe is not only our heaviest , but also our best album to date! The record, our fifth studio release, is titled MERIDIONAL and will be released on July 13th.
Cory describes it as “a heavy record, multifaceted with epic sounding, experimental songs, some fast, chaotic songs, and some melodic, commanding interludes. Any track we didn’t think had reached its utmost sonic prowess was given a second look, revised to be as powerful as possible.” We really feel like we have made something special and are looking forward to getting it in your hands.
And if we weren’t busy enough pulling together all the album artwork (which we’ll be sharing with you REALLY soon), we’ve added a bunch of May tour dates into the mix as well! Beginning May 11th, we’ll hit the road with Every Time I Die and Cancer Bats for thirteen dates. Check out all the dates above:
