After a long stint of writing for a new record, we’re ready to play some shows. We have added the last USA shows until next Summer on the TOUR page.  Pizza Riot 2011 is with Oh Sleeper, Stray from the Path, Memphis May Fire, Close Your Eyes, and Lower Than Atlantis (from the UK).

The official video for “Bastardizer,” the second single off Meridional, debuts today on Alternative Press.  The video was directed by Brooks Jones and shot at our rehearsal space in Atlanta.  Watch here:

From Cory: We had a lot of fun shooting this video.  It’s really just us in our practice space, where we have written most of our records.  No special effects, just us jamming.  It’s one of our favorite songs from the new record, so it was a perfect choice for the next video.

Get a behind the scenes look at the making of the new video for “Bastardizer,” our second single from Meridional.  Cory shot this footage while filming the video at our rehearsal space in Atlanta.

The official music video was directed by Brooks Jones and will premiere on AltPress.com on Monday, May 2nd.

After a successful 2010 and a strong start in 2011, Norma Jean have announced the “Explosions II Part Deux” Spring 2011 tour. The tour will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale on May 6th at Culture Room and conclude in their home state of Georgia in Augusta on June 1st. After The Burial, Motionless In White will be supporting Norma Jean along with For The Fallen Dreams and Stray From The Path. The critically acclaimed metal band is currently on the road with their “Explosions II” headlining tour which concludes March 25th in Atlanta.

If you haven’t already heard, we’ll be hitting the road soon for EXPLOSIONS II. We definitely want to see you guys at these shows as we haven’t done a headlining tour in forever it seems.  We’ll be playing a lot of songs we haven’t played in forever or at all.  Old and new.

Norma Jean fans!  We wanted you to be the first to know about our upcoming “Explosions II” tour. Norma Jean will headline, supported by Stick To Your Guns, Impending Doom, and Of Legends. This is our first real headlining tour in over a year so don’t miss it!  We will be playing a lot of songs that we haven’t played in a long time and some that have never been played at all, old and new.  Doesn’t matter what record is your favorite, we’ll be playing something from it.  We’re very excited and are working really hard to make sure it’s going to be excellent!   Tickets are on sale NOW for all dates except Portland, Seattle, Denver, and Pittsburgh – those go on sale later this week.   Check out the dates below.  We’ll also be posting ticket links on our tour page as they become available.
